    NANNIES
We place temporary and permanent, full-time and part-time nannies on a live-in or live-out basis.
Our policy is to offer only applicants that we consider to be suitable for, and interested in, your position. We feel it's important the nanny should be as happy working for you, as you will be employing them. By screening and selecting the best applicants, we hope to prevent your wasting precious hours interviewing unsuitable candidates. We place the emphasis on quality not quantity! All nannies interviewed through Elite Nannies should have the qualities required to fill your position.

The majority of our staff hold qualifications in childcare, most commonly; the NNEB Diploma, the BTEC Diploma and NVQ Level 3. There are also many nannies on our books without formal qualifications, who have obtained excellent skills in childcare through experience.

    MOTHERS HELPS
Mothers' Helps are often newly-qualified nannies with training but minimal experience. Whereas, we only place qualified and/or experienced staff in nanny positions, we would consider unqualified candidates with a minimum of 1 year's experience for mothers' help positions, which usually involve working alongside a parent.

    MATERNITY NURSES
Maternity Nurses are available 24 hours per day, 5/6 days per week, or can be provided on a part-time days/nights only basis.

Our maternity nurses hold similar qualifications to nannies or nursing/midwifery qualifications and specialise in new baby care. They are not expected to take over total care of the baby (unless requested to do so) but are there to give new mums advice, guidance and confidence in their own abilities.

They will help establish and give advice on breast-feeding or give alternative advice on formula if required. Depending on the length of their booking they will try to establish a good routine for mother and baby to follow. Maternity nurses are responsible for all the babies needs including laundry, washing and sterilizing equipment and generally maintaining a high standard of hygiene in the nursery. They will try to actively involve older children and encourage interest in the new baby, but are not responsible for the care of siblings or any other household duties.
